Châteauneuf-Du-Pape Les Safres, Le Clos Du Caillou 2021. Le Clos du Caillou benefits from an exceptional terroir which varies from sandy soils to the famous `galets roulés`. The estate has been practicing biodynamic viticulture since 2003 and was certified organic in 2010. The wines continue to impress year on year as they continue to make exceptionally well-balanced wines with their signature, velvety tannins.

Barolo Pietrin, Franco Conterno 2019. Grape varieties from three different areas, Monforte d’Alba, Novello and Castiglione Falletto, make up Franco Conterno’s Barolo Pietrin. Aged in oak barrels for 24 months it shows vibrant brick ​​red colour, rich ripe fruit, assertive fine grained tannins, sweet spice and developing notes of leafy fig. Barolo Pietrin uses two strains for Nebbiolo (Lampia for colour and Michet for concentration), producing a rich wine with delicate floral hints.

Les Charmes De Kirwan, Margaux 2019. The lovely garnet red color points to a wine that is still young, with no sign of aging. The nose is complex, a mix of ripe fruit with fine woody and vanilla notes. After a fresh, gentle attack, the wine has a round, ample and juicy character in the mouth. Aromas of perfectly ripe red and black berries are back once again, complemented by hints of pepper. Discreet, fine-grained tannins make for a lovely length in the mouth. The most eager enthusiasts can enjoy this wine today, keeping in mind that it will continue to age beautifully for the next decade.

Old Vine Zinfandel, Bedrock Wine Co 2020. Bedrock vineyard itself was the first California vineyard to be replanted after the ravages of phylloxera in 1888 and is home to some of the world`s oldest vines, some of which have yet to be DNA-profiled. Although Zinfandel takes front stage in most of the Bedrock wines. The wine is complex and intense, combining the structure of these old vineyards with a bit of California sun.

Côtes-Du-Rhône Rouge Bouquet Des Garrigues, Le Clos Du Caillou 2020. Le Clos du Caillou Côtes du Rhône Le Bouquet des Garrigues is a bright, ruby-red wine that boasts of intense aromas of blackberry, black cherry and spice. This wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre grapes grown in the southern Rhône Valley, which is renowned for producing some of the world's finest wines. The powerful fruit flavor of this wine is complemented by soft tannins, creating a harmonious balance that makes it versatile enough to pair with a wide variety of cuisines, especially roasted meats and hearty stews. This wine has a long, smooth finish and is a great choice for anyone looking for a quality Côtes du Rhône wine.

Pinot Noir, BOB Short For Kate 2020. Bob Short for Kate by Marlborough’s talented Ben Glover pays homage to his sister, nicknamed ‘Bob Short for Kate’ (some of you may well get the Black Adder reference!) A bright, brambly hue with aromas of wild berries, cherries, raspberry and a hint of green spice. These notes overflow onto the palate with a burst of fruit and elegance to the finish.

Château Lucas, Lussac-Saint-Émilion 2016. Lussac is an up and coming satellite appellation of the renowned Saint Emilion region on the the Right Bank of Bordeaux. There is no doubt that one of Lussac's most prized properties is Château Lucas, owned by the Vauthier family of Château Ausone fame. From just 18 hectares of vines, three cuvée are produced. The top wine, aptly called Château Lucas, is produced from a 12-hectare vineyard, comprising equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Franc. While so much of the Right Bank focuses on Merlot, the high percentage of Cabernet Franc brings a polished lift to the cuvée, vintage in and vintage out.

La Linda Malbec, Bodega Luigi Bosca 2022. Not many names carry the same weight as Luigi Bosca for fans of real, classic Argentinian Malbec. For those fans, La Linda is a real beauty. Intense, smooth and juicy with a lovely cherry and strawberry fruit feel. A touch of spice and nice and soft tannins make the wine very drinkable.
