NV Champagne Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Valentin Leflaive CV 18 30. In Burgundy the name Leflaive is truly iconic. Made in the modern style yet laced with the character of the family's deep wine making heritage. The bottles are distinguished by their code rather than name, CV 18 30 refers to the year and origin of the base, and also the dosage (sugar content) meaning Blanc de Blancs CV 18 30 is a pure Chardonnay based on wines harvested in the 2018 vintage (18) from the Grand Cru of Cramant (C) and the Premier Cru of Vertus (V), finished with a dosage of 3.0g/l (30).
Cuvée Royale Brut, Champagne Joseph Perrier NV. 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier, with three years of ageing, this vivacious champagne has a delicate nose of green apples and stone fruits. A lively freshness balances the round and elegant citrus fruit on the palate.
Crémant De Loire, Les Vaublins 2020. Bright red apple and notes of lime, feature alongside secondary aromas of hay, shortcrust and a dusting of honeycomb. A welcome grassy backnote of celery and lime cordial balance with the rich flavours and textures, making for a complex fizz with a ripe strawberry finish. Lovely!
Prosecco DOCG Brut, Collalbrigo NV. This is a proper Prosecco! In the glass, small bubbles abound with an invigorating fresh nose that has hints of apple. Well balanced with good acidity. Refreshing, enjoyable and thoroughly drinkable.
Frizzante Bianco Unfiltered, INT3GRAL3 NV. Made with organic indigenous grapes Glera, Garganega, Serprino, Pinella, this wine is bottled unfiltered and fermented in bottle. Pale straw yellow in colour, with white peach, golden apple, pineapple, guava, and white flowers on the nose, which follows through on the palate.
